Chicken wings recipe for the Super Bowl
The Super Bowl is just around the corner and I cannot guarantee that the eyes will be on screens this year because this chicken wings recipe is amazing. What I like most is that it is simple, does not require much preparation and will please everyone.
To start, mix 2 pounds of chicken wings with a bottle of Budweiser Chicken Wing Sauce and marinate in the fridge all day.
On the night of the game, sprinkle your favorite spices on each side and preheat the BBQ between 225 °F and 400 °F. *
Place your chicken wings in indirect cooking, then keep the BBQ closed during the cooking time. Make sure you reach 165 ° F in the middle of the chicken, then you’re done.
To complete it all, I suggest this blue cheese dip, perfect to accompany the wings. Just mix these ingredients and keep everything in the fridge until the kickoff!
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup of blue cheese
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1 green shallot chopped into slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
Good game !
*The lower the temperature during cooking, the more tender and juicy the wings will be. The most important thing is to raise the temperature of the BBQ during the last 5 minutes of cooking, around 450 ° F, so that the wings become crispy, while remaining in indirect cooking, to avoid burning them. A wing will take about 2 hours to cook at 225 ° F (for fanatics), 45 minutes at 300 ° F and 25 minutes at 400 ° F.
