Canadian Chicken Wings

If you’re tired of waiting for the Montreal Canadians to score 5 goals to eat free chicken wings or if you’re just a huge fan of chicken wings, this recipe is all designated for you!

 

Here are 3 different ways of cooking tender and crispy chicken wings that will cheer up your next hockey nights. If you do not have a good show on the ice, you’ll have one to eat in the comfort of your living room.

 

Ingredients:

 

For sweet chicken wings lovers:

  • A pack of chicken wings (about 25 wings)
  • 1 / 4 cup of maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons of Kansas BBQ Quebec spices
  • 2 tablespoons of Tex-Max BBQ Quebec spices
  • Quebec Sweet Lemon Sauce

 

For those who love the classical South Carolina mustard taste:

  • A pack of chicken wings (about 25 wings)
  • 1 / 4 cup of maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons of SJB spices
  • South Carolina Style SJB Sauce

 

For those who prefer hot wings, Buffalo style:

  • A pack of chicken wings (about 25 wings)
  • 1 / 4 cup of maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons of Oakridge Game Bird spices
  • 2 tablespoons of Oakridge Secret Weapon Spices
  • Pappy’s Buffalo Sauce

 

Preparation:

 

  1. Mix all the spices to blend all the flavors.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the wings and the maple syrup.
  3. Add the spices to the wings and cover them well.

 

Cooking:

 

  1. Cook the wings indirectly in the BBQ at 350 °F.
  2. Once the internal temperature of the wings reaches 150 °F brush them with BBQ sauce.
  3. Let the wings cook indirectly until the internal temperature reaches 175 °F.
  4. For best results, cook them directly on the grill for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove the wings from the grill and let them rest 5 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
